Abstract

The present study investigates sustainable digital transformation among sports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMSEs) in developing nations, where organizations must deal with unstable conditions and growing technological demands. The researchers used the qualitative meta-synthesis method of Sandelowski and Barroso (2007) to review previous studies and develop an integrated conceptual framework. The results revealed that internal factors such as leadership commitment, organizational culture, digital skills, technological infrastructure, and dynamic capabilities play a significant role in the success of digital transformation. External factors, such as government support, market competition, technological change and stakeholder expectations, play important roles as well. Sustainable digital transformation is not only about technology adoption, but also a mix of economic, social, environmental and ethical elements that lead towards resilient and datadriven sports organizations.
