Trustworthy Digital Transformation
and Data-Driven Societal Resilience

Abstract
The research papers featured in this issue of IPSI Bgd Transactions on Internet Research
cover digital technology, artificial intelligence, blockchain architecture, statistical modeling,
and data-driven methods. Though they belong to distinct research fields, all these works focus
on technology’s reshaping of organizations, institutions, and society and center on the shared
core of trustworthiness, sustainability, auditability, social value, and strengthened resilience.
From a broader perspective, the importance of responsible digital transformation is growing
increasingly prominent. We must correct the one-sided perception that frames digital
transformation as nothing more than the deployment of new technologies. Beyond rolling out
new technologies, all types of organizations and public institutions need to ensure their digital
systems are interpretable, reliable, and resilient to meet social, ethical, and institutional
expectations. In this sense, the papers collected in this special issue provide support for
existing academic debates across five core areas: sustainable development, AI governance,
audit and oversight, democratic infrastructure, and evidence-based public health.
This section sequentially sorts out the core content of four English academic papers, which
respectively fall under the fields of sustainable digital transformation, AI-native decision
governance, generative AI audit regulation, and national-scale electronic voting blockchain, to
string together the research trajectory of the multi-scenario implementation of digital
technologies.
